An original resin seascape artwork on a unique olive wood chopping board from Somerset based artist Holly Freemantle.

Dive in the details of this resin ocean original piece, featuring deep teal colours, contrasting the vibrant olive wood. The olive wood has beautiful grains and details, with notches and holes that have been filled with resin to create little rock pools.

Inspired by the coastline, these gorgeous pieces have layered waves creating depth and details that replicate the movement and free flow nature of the sea.

Due to the process of working with resin, each board is completely unique and one of a kind. Handmade in Holly’s studio in Wellington, Somerset.

FEATURES:

  • Art piece / chopping board size 400 × 200 × 25mm.

  • Bio resin ocean on solid olive wood base. Please add a note to your order if you would like this to be a hanging artwork. I can add hanging wire on the rear.

  • Not dishwasher safe. Wipe with a damp cloth after use or lightly wash in warm soapy water. Do not leave your board standing in water.

  • Use a food safe oil to nourish the board and enhance the woods natural colours.

  • It is recommended to cut on the board only, not on the resin area.

  • Since all items are handmade, some imperfections may be present. Due to the breathable nature of raw wood, some air bubble imperfections may be on the surface of the resin, however this adds to the character and creates a more natural wave with bubbles and texture.

  • To keep your resined item looking great, please avoid placing anything hot on a resin surface.

  • Resin is not food safe, please do not place food on resin areas.
